2023 Sequoyah Council Recognition Banquet

The Annual Council Recognition Dinner gives us as a council the opportunity to spend an evening thanking
and honoring our distinguished volunteers and Eagle Scout Recipients. This year, we will honor Silver Beaver, National Eagle Scout Association Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award, and William H.
Spurgeon III award recipients.

The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award which recognizes adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the Council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service.  Submission deadline to nominate for the 2023 Silver Beavers is October 31st.  Nomination forms can be picked up at the Council Office or downloaded at https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/92-103.pdf.

Cost: $25 a person, 2022 Eagle Class as well as  2022 Silver Beaver recipients and spouses attend at no cost.

All current award recipients are highly encouraged to attend and will be honored at this event.
Program begins at 3 p.m., with award presentations to follow.

Registration closes on Sunday Nov. 26th.
