DESCRIPTION:The Annual Council Recognition Dinner gives us as a council the
  opportunity to spend an evening thanking\nand honoring our distinguished 
 volunteers and Eagle Scout Recipients. This year\, we will honor Silver Be
 aver\, National Eagle Scout Association Outstanding Eagle Scout Award\, El
 bert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award\, and William H.\nSpurgeon III
  award recipients.\n\nThe Silver Beaver Award is the council-level disting
 uished service award which recognizes adult leaders who have made an impac
 t on the lives of youth through service given to the Council. The Silver B
 eaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and pe
 rform community service through hard work\, self-sacrifice\, dedication\, 
 and many years of service.  Submission deadline to nominate for the 2023 
 Silver Beavers is October 31st.  Nomination forms can be picked up at the
  Council Office or downloaded at https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore
 /pdf/92-103.pdf.\n\nCost: $25 a person\, 2022 Eagle Class as well as  20
 22 Silver Beaver recipients and spouses attend at no cost.\nAll current a
 ward recipients are highly encouraged to attend and will be honored at thi
 s event.\nProgram begins at 3 p.m.\, with award presentations to follow.\n
