Orienteering Merit Badge Class

This class will be geared to help scouts that recently participated in orienteering events at Warriors Path State Park work toward merit badge completion. The class will meet in Room 103, immediately following the Phoenix Patrol meeting.

Orienteering Merit Badge Class to cover:

• Req. 1 – First Aid for Orienteering
• Req. 6 – Orienteering Map Symbols, Techniques, Controls

Additionally, the class will briefly introduce remaining requirements such as:

• Req. 7b “write report on orienteering events….”
• Req. 8 “set up course, prepare map and controls…”
• Req. 10 “teach orienteering….”
