Eagle Project- Aiden McNabb

To all scouts,
I made an announcement tonight about having a work day for my Eagle project. I had a few scouts come and express interest in going but not many. I am still having a work day this Thursday, July 14 at Salem United Methodist Church but I would like to have more scouts to help. I highly encourage younger scouts to attend since it is an opportunity to be with fellow scouts, provide a service to the community, and also start gathering ideas for Eagle projects of their own (and maybe how to do them better). There will be plenty of things to do and it should be a great time. Please respond to this email if you are able to help so that I can get a sense of participation. I also need to gauge adult leadership so adults please reply as well if you are going.

Location: Salem United Methodist Church, boozy Creek Rd

Time: 10:00am – 1:30pm

Work day description: Dig holes for corner posts of an octoball pit and trenches inbetween for the walls to sit in as well as assemble the wooden frame of the pit.

Things to bring (if possible) : Shovel, maddock, garden hoe, gloves, eye protection, and close toed shoes.
