Shooting Fair is a fun trip hosted at Camp Davy Crockett. It is a day of learning how to shoot guns(such as a shotgun and rifle) and bows and having fun while doing so. Along with shooting guns you also have to learn gun safety. You as a scout need to ask for permission to enter the range. After the permission is granted you can shoot away at a paper target. There are also competitions to see who gets the most points. You do have to prepare as it might be cold and it is an all day trip. Overall people very much like it and 37 people went to it this year. People said it was fun and would recommend to others especially starting scouts. It is a great trip for learning the basics and firearm safety.
