Troop 48 CDC Shooting Fair, Saturday, Nov 4th 8AM – Sunday, Nov 5th 6PM

https://t48.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/2023-Troop-48-Shooting-Fair-Schedule-v4.0.pd Shooting Fair is designed to give instruction in the safe and proper use of archery equipment, .22 rifles, and 20-gauge shotguns. This instruction and experience will allow the Scouts to make progress toward the Rifle and Archery merit badges. There will be some downtime where each patrol will occupy themselves (prep time for skits is strongly advised, or bring a field activity game such as football, frisbee).

Following Saturday’s activities, a feast is planned by and to be executed by the Leadership Corps.  The feast will be held at the HQ building. Patrols will prepare their desserts to share with the crowd. Following the feast, 2023 Patrol Experiences will be shared. We will have a formal Troop 48 style (patrols bring your prepared skits and songs) campfire at HQ. We will camp out on Saturday night in the Black Bear. Get signed up !!!

Scouts and adults, if you are not feeling well, have been around anyone not feeling well, or are part of a group exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19 or flu, please skip any patrol meeting or troop outing during that week. Please keep everyone safe!
