TROOP 48 Patrol Checklist 

October 4, , 2022 

3 WEEKS LEFT TO RECHARTER!!!!

Troop 48 Rechartering is coming along but we don’t yet have any patrol at 100%.  Who will be the first completely registered patrol, which wins the opportunity to pie your Leadership Corps member of choice?!? 

  • Please register by paying Mr. Browning!!!  $142 Youth with magazine, $68 Leaders
  • Paperwork must be accomplished by October 18th (internal deadline) or members are dropped!

Schedule your Medical appointment to update your form.  The Troop needs current parts A & B.  If you turned forms in for summer camp, then you are in good shape!  

All scouts need current (less than six months old) signed copies of (a) Troop 48 Alcohol and Drug Policy (b) Behavior Guidelines (c) Electronic Equipment Guidelines, and (d) Trip Permission form.  See Amy Taylor.  

Important for Adult leadership:

– Youth Protection Training required within the last two years (my.scouting.org for online training; furnish certificate).  Mr. Hasler can check.

– Hazardous Weather Training

– [Assistant] Scoutmaster Position Specific Training if not already a “Trained”

Class registration is opening soon for early birds, particularly if there is a merit badge class at camp that you really would like to take, but fills up quickly… (such as Cooking*).  Inform Vic Hasler at hvhasler@eastman.com of your choices.  Paper copies of the one page worksheet are now available in the wire racks or check

CHPC Pumpkin Patch: 

•CHPC will have a pumpkin patch from Oct 1-31 from 11 am to 7 pm each day. 

Special events will happen throughout the month: 

kick off on Oct 2nd, 

fall festival on Oct 15, 

trunk or treat on Oct 30.
