Voting for In-House Troop 48 Merit Badge Classes is open. Please complete a ballot and return them to Mr. Browning by the end of September 2022. Please Vote for “Super Activities” for Calendar Year 2024, and ten other outings for Calendar Year 2023. Returned ballots must have a name and no more than 10 regular outings and 2 Super Activities marked, or they will not be counted. Please place your completed ballots in the “Ballot” box at Mr. Browning’s station.

Troop 48 Registration time is in full swing!!! Who will be the first completely registered patrol?!? You will have an opportunity to pie your favorite leadership corps members! 

Rechartering paperwork must be accomplished by mid-October or members are dropped, scheduled Medical we need – Current parts A, & B, (if you turned forms in for summer camp you are in good shape! ) All other scouts need part A&B 

All scouts need   Current (less than six months old) Signed copies of (a) Troop 48 Alcohol and Drug Policy (b) Behavior Guidelines (c) Electronic Equipment Guidelines, and (d) Trip Permission form. See Amy Taylor. https://t48.org/resources/forms-policies/#annual-4-forms

Important for Adult leadership:

Youth Protection Training within the last two years (my.scouting.org for online training; furnish certificate).

– Hazardous Weather Training.

– And Scouts BSA – [Assistant] Scoutmaster Position Specific Training if not already a “Trained”

Multiple different service opportunities are available. Info on t48.org VOLUNTEER:

•Haunted woods adventure: 

 When: Saturday, Oct 29, 1-5 PM

If Raining: Sunday, October 30, 1-5 pm, See Jerry Browning or Julieann White for more information 

•October 21-23 Cubs Haunted Adventure CDC help to run an obstacle course see Jerry Browning or Julieann White 

CHPC will have a pumpkin patch from Oct 1 -Oct 31 from 11 am to 7 pm each day. 

Special events will happen throughout the month: 

kick off on Oct 2nd, 

fall festival on Oct 16, 

trunk or treat on Oct 30, 

Note !!! Pumpkins are coming on September 30 at 4:00 Friday please come and help unload the truck on September 18 Sunday at 4:00 in the gym will have sign-up sheets for volunteers !!! please come sign up OR let Julieann White know

Super Trips 2023!!! Make sure you get registered now before registration is  closed 

July 19 – July 28, 2023, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Registration opened on March 27 and online registration can be completed at https://jamboree.scouting.org/.
