PATROL BOX
Patrol Box check will postponed please confirm planning for restoring patrol boxes. We noticed that many boxes need lots of work. Please take the time to work on patrol box remove and clean everything reloading the box In an organized meaner
 
SCOUT CARDS MONEY NEEDS TO BE COLLECTED !!!!
WE WILL NEED AN ADULT TO SIGN OFF AT HAND OUT. Please make sure that you have the money and or cards to equal the amount of cards that your scout signed out.a Let Thomas Gould or Julieann White Know if you have any questions! Bring money TO Mr. Gould or to Mr. Miller…be sure to indicate what the money is for/from…
 
Thomas will also take scout cards back…
 
Each Scout must  have ALL money and unsold cards back by May 4th…
 
The Troop must turn all money and unsold cards by May 7th…

Protocol: A reminder was sent out that addressed the importance of safety regarding Church protocol for covid, addressing our agreement with the church to stay within designated areas keeping those areas clean and using respect in safety in all decisions That are made in regards to being held accountable for one another leadership will respectfully ask that these expectations are addressed in the Patrol meeting. ( please see separate email)
 
FORMS collection we still have a small few that are missing forms!!
Collect the 4 forms and get them to Amy Taylor
 
PATROL LEADERSHIP
1. Call patrol members not present! It is important!
PANTHER • Little pantry: conduct an in-patrol food drive to fill the little pantry with non-perishable Foods note no glass bottles.
 ( powdered milk and baby food is needed)
FLAMING ARROW • PLC host help with organizing the Materials Needed at PLC EAGLE • Service : Stomp cans ,Straighten up Garage and Office please help clean the garage!!!
DONE WEEKLY • West Bank Please pick up branches & trash, rake leaves Good Turn part of “West Bank:” Use rakes and spread mulch to fill in holes in Children’s Playground.

PLANNING
Please encourage book checks for all scouts actively working on advancements, go to office at schedule time
 
Note !  patrol leader’s should see
Mr. Hasler weekly for patrol advice of advancement.
 
Update:
The Sequoyah Council Jamboree:
 Jamboree is officially sold out! Don’t forget to sign up to help run the Troop 48 station. We will be running a climbing wall and teaching knot knowledge to Cubs standing in line. Adults and youth needed review trip planning make sure that all arrangements are made for drivers any special event plans are noted (example not meeting at CHPC)
 
Summer Camp: please make sure that your classes are set make sure that your uniform is ready and make sure that you have paid your fees. We will be having an official presentation of practical preparation for all new scouts ( patrol leadership pleas help your new scouts to be prepared for summer camp by encouraging attendance at this meeting and by answering questions along the way.

Important planning:
 
• 2021 Annual Health and Medical Record update time. If you are going to summer camp or anything longer than 72 Hours this is a must. Download, print, complete Parts A+B, Part C is to be completed by your physician. Turn into Bonnie Depew.
 
• Choose 2021 Summer Camp classes..
 
 • New scouts should have a scout hand book class B T-shirt  Troop 48 Red numbers and shirt loops if you have not received these items please see Mr. Hasler. After you have reviewed all patrols please see a leadership corps member and let them know what patrol you are going to join and why. Me. Hasler will then provide new scouts with a patrol patch . When you have completed scout rank you will earn a Troop 48 neckerchief.
 
Emerald mine trip do to covid protocol in Virginia has been postponed and rescheduled for
June 4-6 camping o. The blue ridge parkway, Hiking and working on merit badges will all be available please mark your calendar accordingly for changes. Visiting T48.org regularly for up to date information.
