Details: The Sequoyah Council has contracted with Tudlow Coach bus services for a 1-day trip to National Jamboree. The bus will
leave Sequoyah Council in Gray, TN @ 6 a.m. Bus will travel to Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, VA. to
pickup additional riders. Bus will travel approximately 3.5 hours to JW/Hazel Ruby Welcome Center in Mt. Hope, WV (5 miles from
Jamboree site). Participants will board shuttle bus to Jamboree.
Jamboree visiting hours are 10 – 4 p.m. Lunch can be purchased at Jamboree but it is advised to bring your own lunch.
At 4 p.m., participants will board shuttles to transport back to Welcome Center to Tudlow Coach bus. Bus will travel back to Tri-Cities
with drop-off points in Abingdon & Johnson City. A dinner stop at Golden Corral in Beckley, VA is planned.
This trip is NOT sponsored by T-48. Interested parties should notify Mrs. White so she can provide final numbers to Council.
Activity Cost Pay To
Jamboree – Adult Single Day Pass (ages 14+) $75 Buy separately on National Jamboree website
Jamboree – Youth Single Day Pass (Ages 6-13) $50 Buy separately on National Jamboree website
Bus Transportation $45 – $2,000 Council: Bus price is $2,500 for day and can hold 56 ppl. Price
will vary based on number of participants
Food $15-$25 On your own
Estimated Total ~$150 – $250* Based on number of bus riders
