TROOP 48 BSA PATROL MEETING CHECKLIST
Tuesday, March 8, 2022,
Get your Scout Cards sales to start as soon as you get your cards! Please plan to have an adult partner with you. Tuesday, March 8th Ben and Misty Richie will be at Troop meeting with Scout Cards, sales dates, and support. Sell 65 cards and go to summer camp for free, and get commission money put in your Scout account for trips!!!
March 8 planning: Advancements activities
Hand in homework from March 1 – First Class 4b – Navigating by GPS
– Work with adult advisers on the requirements in patrols – pick route from each scout’s home to CHPC to NE State CC to CHPC
Start: Camping MB Req 3 – Written plan for getting to campsite using topo map and GPS
– Camping MBC (Brandby, C. Garrett, Shone, Sprinkle, JA White, plus Hasler) – give a topo map with the spot marked from the troop library.
Tenderfoot Fittness #6 recheck with Mrs.Wexler and Mr.Wexler
Looking forward …Plan ahead
March 15 – Cumberland Gap Prep / Webelos visitors each patrol needs to showcase a skill
March 22 – Geocaching MB – introduction as a hobby
March 29 – Raccoon Hunt -with Langley Brents / COH cutoff
Ceremony – Panther ( watch and learn, job well done last week!)
March 8 – Hand in Webelos showcase plan to Easton or Langley
Our Newest Scouts who are still visiting patrols: We invite you to visit with a patrol you have not visited yet. ( please let Leadership know your selection )
Meeting- one leadership corps will be in each meeting to make sure the meeting is running smoothly:
- Take attendance. Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed.
- Showcase planning for March 15
- Counsel and sign off advancement. Update Scout books for advancements
- Call patrol members who are not present. Discuss possible new Scouts for patrol.
- Sign up for CDC summer camp classes –
- Sign up, pay for Cumberland Gap
7 sign up for Backbone rock
Note: In the Coffee Shop area,
Mr. Hasler summer camp plus book checks for Fox patrol. He will be available, Answering questions for MBU
Mr. Allen will also be set up there to handle book checks for the rest of the patrols plus be available for training on T48.org and booking registrations for upcoming events.
Patrol Monthly Duty Rotation Chart Patrol jobs: please do jobs That are assigned it’s your responsibility!

Food Box: Fox; Our new blessing box storage is in the old prayer room. Ask Mrs.White if you are not sure of the location.
