Here is the information on our 2026 Goodwill Day observances at Goodwill Tenneva to share with your student contacts needing community service to meet financial aid, scholarship, course, work ethic, graduation, college/work application, or résumé requirements during the 2026 Spring Semester. High school and college students in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee who are age 16 plus can earn one to eight hours of community service on either April 12 at our Virginia stores in Abingdon, Bristol, Chilhowie, Richlands, and Wise or on April 26 at our Tennessee stores in Bristol, Elizabethton, Greeneville, Johnson City, and Kingsport (Green Acres).
Registration opens on March 2 for both Goodwill Day Virginia and Goodwill Day Tennessee. Registration for a limited number of available volunteer slots at each location is required. The deadline to register is the same for either state option, March 31 by 7:00 p.m. If you forward this email to your student contacts, they can tap on the Save the Dates graphic below or tap the “Here” link embedded in the attached flyer to access the registration website.
