This Weekend:

Eagle workday opportunity

Hello all! 

I am going to be having another workday on Saturday if y’all would like to come help. We will be digging holes and placing more benches. If you have anny posthole diggers, those would be great to bring! Also, gloves and safety glasses would be great to bring. All workers have been asked by the beneficiary to park behind the dining hall. If you have any questions, or are planning on coming, please let me know at

Class will be held at CHPC March 21-23 

Learn how to help !! Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is a training course that teaches how to treat injuries and illnesses in remote settings. It’s intended for people who are away from immediate medical care. $100 fee. Friday 6p-9p ish.  Saturday 08:30-7p ish.  Sunday 08:30-3p ish

COPE – instructors will be available to introduce climbing 

MBU records are back.  While several MBs were finished there, Incomplete forms are available for those who have more requirements.  

Cutoff for awards and bulletin for the 4/8 Court of Honor is the 8:30pm closing troop meeting.

OA elections!! Congratulations to our Order of the Arrow youth-elected

Patrol Duties for March:: 

• Ceremonies: Phoenix • Food Box: Panther • Game Guides: Fox • PLC Host and Troop Meeting Set-up: Flaming Arrow  • Service: Wolf (Clean up and leadership assistance)  • Can Recycling:  Shark  (check every week, even if no cans brought into the gym) • Grounds: Eagle 

2025 Scout Card Campaign  Scouts and Parents, the initial card delivery has been delayed and may not be delivered until sometime Friday. Cards Available Storefront Sales March 15th – 29th 

Sales End and All Money Due April 22nd 

75% commission per card ($7.50 each) 

Patrick Monk will be sharing information and distribution of cards. Set your personal goal!!!  This fundraiser is the best way to obtain money for your personal scouting experience. All money goes to the scout accounts.

For those who went to the 3/11 Board of Education meeting, see Mr. Sprinkle to discuss the topics for Reqs #3ab and what covered with Mr Fletcher for Reqs #4ab.

Arrowmen, Conclave is coming up quicker than you think. It’s an event you won’t want to miss! April 25th- 27th at Camp Buck Toms in Rockwood, TN. If you like field games, great food, and fun times with fellow scouts, then this event is for you!  Early bird registration ends on March 10th, so if you want to save some money, make sure to register fast. Registration includes event fees, transportation assistance, a T-shirt, and a Patch set.

5/9-11 Boone Trail Camporee – May 9-11, 2025

District-wide Camporee. We are looking for scouts and adults to serve as staff for this district event. If interested, please contact Mr. Browning. Registration is Open.

Church Yard Sale

May 30 & 31 Donations of good quality items may be dropped off at the church starting May 21. Please no clothes, shoes, or broken items. Money raised will support replacing kitchen equipment. Volunteers will be needed to set up sorting and at sale. 

2025 Super Trips – take action NOW to participate!

Cumberland Island Expedition, May 24-31. One opening is remaining, register and make the $100 deposit. Pick your shirt size. Each participant will get a t-shirt as part of the trip cost. Additional shirts may be ordered by attendees, parents, or other scouts at $17 each.  

If you missed the Cumberland Island Planning Meeting Tuesday March 18th please see Jerry Browning We need to discuss logistics, crew membership, meal planning, and general information. Our Cumberland Island Expedition is just around the corner.

Summer Camp – June 15-21 (starting Fathers Day) at Camp Davy Crockett 

All registered should have paid $260 as of March 1. Please bring payments to Mr. Browning ASAP.  Please register on T48.org to indicate preferences for housing and carpooling.  Contact Julieann White with any questions. A morning Cooking MB slot is available. If interested, see Mr. Hasler before it is released..

NASA Space Camp July 17-20 Pathfinder program. Last Chance, only a few openings remaining. A payment is due to the Space Camp mid March. Please pay Mr. Browning ASAP. Register on T48.org and pay a $100 nonrefundable deposit to Mr. Browning ASAP. 

National Jamboree 2026, July 22-31, 2026. Ten fun days at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia with thousands of other scouts. $1,560 per person fee plus council costs. Look for registration on the Sequoyah Council website soon. First payment due in May 2025.

Save the Date:  April 26-27 (Overnight) to be offered at Warriors Path State Park
