• Grounds: Phoenix (Please rake the playground mulch, put rocks back in garden beds that are in the parking lot, empty trash by the play yard and pick up litter around church grounds.)
Online Renewal Notices
Please get registered (~1/3rd are done). If you are having difficulty, please bring money to a troop meeting and we will be happy to help!!!
Most of Troop 48 leaders and scouts have a 31 Oct recharter deadline. Starting this year, an electronic system will be used for payments to BSA. Please check your inbox and/or spam folder for an email with a link to renew online. The cost per scout for National and Council fees is $135, and $100 for adults, includes the cost of insurance. There will be a 30-day lapse period beyond your anniversary date, after which, you will be dropped from the Troop Roster. If you do not receive an email, you can log on to my.scouting and complete the renewal from “My Application”. Let us know if you have any problems.
New Feature – if you would like to pay for your renewal from your scout account, let Mr. Browning know and we can handle your renewal and payment for you.
Annual Troop 48 Fee:
Troop 48 registration fees will be the same as last year, $42 per scout and $3 per adult, in addition to national fees. The troop registration fees cover our general operating costs for the year, Nov. 1, 2024 – Oct. 31, 2025. General costs include merit badge patches, website administrative costs, historian costs such as plaques, etc., and camping costs such as propane, gear, etc. Please make this payment to Mr. Browning by Oct. 31, 2024.

Important Announcements for Adults – For the pilot we are participating in (boys and girls combined troop), parents of scouts will receive surveys and other emails concerning the pilot. Please make sure your email address in my.scouting is accurate or you will not receive these emails.
