August 20, 2024 Announcements:
Grayson Highlands meal planning
If you missed last week’s Court of Honor, please see Mrs. Tanner to collect your awards, including rank cards, merit badges, and summer camp patches. To the scout who dropped their Environmental Science patch (please check!) in the sanctuary, see Mrs. Tanner to reclaim.
Referencing www.scouting.org/resources/insignia-guide/
- Rank patches are already presented. Your current rank goes on the left pocket.
- While up to six merit badges can be worn on the arm of a long-sleeved shirt, it is recommended to just proceed to sewing them to a merit badge sash.
- One “temporary” event or other BSA patch can be worn on the right shirt pocket or hang from the button. Others (pick favorites) can go on the back of a merit badge sash.
