Every patrol binder should have a copy of the patrol and troop job descriptions, so please review as a group before this date. Backpacking Introduction at Bays Mountain Park (May 18-19)
Introduction to backpacking by trekking to the primitive campground past Feagans Gap in Bays Mountain Park for an overnighter. Good for new scouts as it starts with pack inspection at CHPC to ensure the right gear is present. Good for those who need backpacking cooking for the merit badge if they step forward to take lead on meal planning. If needed, we have backpacking equipment available in the quartermaster closet.
