TROOP 48 BSA PATROL MEETING CHECKLIST Tuesday, April 26, 2022,  

           Knife demo!! Don’t be late !!! 

For those who were not present at COH, please collect your awards at the start of next week’s meeting. 

Along with any  Rank Advancements cards, Jim F. did not give out any of the rank cards.  Sorry 

If not picked up by the end of April, then the Troop Scribe addresses envelopes for mailing the awards.

* EVERY PATROL Needs a check on attendance sheets? Did everyone hand in attendance!?!

Note: 

Scout Card Money is due April 26th bring any unsold cards and money!

Troop Goal is 5000 !!! Let’s have an ice cream party!!!

Meeting- one leadership corps will be in each meeting to make sure the meeting is running smoothly: 

1.  Take attendance.  Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed.   

2. Counsel and sign off advancement. Update Scout books for advancements 

3. Call patrol members who are not present. Discuss possible new Scouts for patrol.

4. Sign up for CDC summer camp classes –

5. Sign up for beginners backpacking

*6. Note: In the Coffee Shop area,

Mr. Hasler; summer camp plus book checks for Fox patrol.  He will be available, to answer questions.

Mr. Allen; Handle book checks for all other patrols plus be available for training on T48.org booking registrations for upcoming events.

NOTE: MANDATORY BOOK CHECKS FOR ALL SCOUTS GOING TO SUMMER CAMP!

7. Save the date! July 19 – July 28, 2023, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Registration opened on March 27 and online registration can be completed at https://jamboree.scouting.org/. To avoid a late fee, online registration and initial payment must be completed before July 31, 2022. 

Turn in: Advancements activities any achievements are done at Backbone rock should be addressed.

Our Newest Scouts who are still visiting patrols:  We invite you to visit with a patrol you have not visited yet. ( please let Leadership know your selection )

7 Warriors path service project Saturday morning; cleanup -Saturday afternoon Orienteering, maps, and how to use a compass. This event will cover the basics of Orienteering as well as First Class Requirement 4a.

10 Backpacking Demo

14-15 Beginner Backpacking Trip Bays Mountain State Park and ends around three the next day at Laurel Run Park.

17 Capture the Flag Patrol Comp.
