* We are having a New Scouts Meeting on 4/19/22 – We will go over important helpful information and would like to present Troop 48 t-shirts (to whoever had not gotten one ).
For those who were not present at COH, we’ll present their awards at the start of next week’s meeting. If not picked up by the end of April, the Troop Scribe addresses envelopes for mailing the awards.
Rank Advancements cards * Jim F. did not give out any of the rank cardsout . All of those need to be given on Tuesday 4/19.

There is another option for CPR if someone needs it. It is on Tuesday April 26 (Scouts will be late to Scout Meeting). It is at St. Dominic Church.
For the Cumberland island crew members we will have a Meeting : attendance is mandatory 8:30 pm
Scout Card Money is due April 26th bring any unsold cards !
Get your Scout Cards: Troop Goal is 5000 !!! Let’s have an ice cream party!!!
Please note this is the biggest opportunity offred for fundraising that our scouts will have. Scout cards sell for $10, Every scout will have the opportunity to make $5 off each card.
Summer camp math: If Scout sells 65 = GO TO SUMMER CAMP FOR FREE!!! If you have already paid for camp you will get that money back.
Sales started! To Get your scout cards, Please plan to have an adult partner with you.

Our Newest Scouts who are still visiting patrols: We invite you to visit with a patrol you have not visited yet. ( please let Leadership know your selection )
Meeting- one leadership corps will be in each meeting to make sure the meeting is running smoothly:
1. Take attendance. Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed.
2. Counsel and sign off advancement. Update Scout books for advancements
3. Call patrol members who are not present. Discuss possible new Scouts for patrol.

7. Save the date ! July 19 – July 28, 2023 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Registration opened on March 27 and online registration can be completed at https://jamboree.scouting.org/. To avoid a late fee, online registration and initial payment must be completed before July 31, 2022.
Easter Egg Hunt April 19th the Patrol that brings in the most filled eggs gets donuts.
Scouts that attend Personal Management at MBU please make sure you meet with Julie Keeton to review your paperwork. You will not get approval for classwork done correctly unless the paperwork is reviewed because of the way the teacher reported requirements

Please do not salute when we have the opening ceremony please do not salute if you are not in the suggested uniform. Please put your hand on your heart when in civilian clothes.
Please do not toss a football in the gym across leadership and scouts who may not be paying attention to the ball and may get hit incidentally.
